Our Journey

I want to keep everyone in the loop as to what has and will be going and wanted to make sure I did not exclude anyone. I figured this would be the best way to keep everyone updated as to where we stand in our journey through IVF.

As most of you know, Tim and I have been trying for a baby for almost 6 years and have been unsuccessful. I have had a few surgeries due to left tubal damage, many blood draws and lots and lots of doctors appts. We have been through inuterine inseminations with clomid and inseminations with daily shots however neither worked. After much thought and prayer we decided to pursue IVF. I recently got a new job and praise God, they cover 3 rounds of IVF!

We started out IVF journey in February and had out egg retrieval on March 16th, 2010. We had 25 eggs retrieved and 22 were mature enough to be fertilized. Out of the 22 that were mature, 12 fertilized normally!!! PRAISE GOD ONCE AGAIN! We had 2 embryos transferred on Sunday March 21st and now waiting until March 30th for our first pregnancy test.

We are keeping faith and knowing that this is our time and God will surely bless us!
